Much to my own amazement, I have met my husband of two months on your site. I had posted an ad in Sept 1996. I had five other responses and had dated a few of the men but Mike out-lasted them all. He's very different than other men I've been with and at first that made it difficult but persistance paid of (on his side that is) and we moved in with each other Dec 1997 and he proposed Feb 14, 1998. We went to Las Vegas the following Monday, Feb 16 and got hitched. We both truly believe we've found our soul mates and are amazed at the seemingly random events that led us to get together. I felt more comfortable "meeting" people on line than in person since it's easier to be up front and to be yourself. -- DeborahS
