SANdMAN (a.k.a. Brian) and I (Steffie) met through the BBW City Personals in December 1998. I had my ad up for about a month and I was really starting to wonder about this personals thing, because no one who had answered before he did seemed quite right. Then one night, I got his reply to my ad. He sounded so interesting, so intellectual, and so artistic. I decided to take a chance and reply to him. After the first couple of emails, he stopped for 2 weeks. Previously, I had taken this to mean that the person was not interested. But for some unknown reason, I emailed him again and said, "Do you still want to talk?" He emailed me back, saying work had been in an uproar for the past two weeks, and that he was really sorry he didn't get back to me.
Then, one night soon after that, we decided to meet in the CityPark to talk. We started to PM and ended up talking for 4 hours. Needless to say, I was hooked. We started to ICQ, meet in the park, and soon after, runni! ng up huge phone bills. Then he came to visit me in March 1999. We have been together ever since. If we are not in each other's presence, we are calling each other. Oh yeah, AT&T loves us!!LOL
He is such a wonderful man. He is always there for me, loves me, loves everything about me, even my wacko sense of humor. He really loves my family (parents, siblings) which is really important to me. He means the world to me.
He will be moving to the Norfolk, VA area soon, so we can be close to each other. I can only count the hours and the days until he gets here, because I know it will be bliss when he does. I don't know what the future holds, but with us facing it together, it will have to be great.
