Arthur and Dora met through the BBW City Personal ads.
Arthur is a former world traveler and though he grew up in New York
Dora is a farm girl from the upper midwest that moved to New York in 1991.
The story goes like this:
I had an ad in admirers section of the BBW City personal ads. After many e-mails we decided to meet. We met for the first time on April 19, 1998 in the Borders Bookstore that used to be at the corner of Church St. and Vesey St. in New York City.
Being very knowledgable about the history of New York, I took Dora on a guided walking tour of lower Manhattan. Once they exhausted all of the destinations in Manhattan, we took the ferry to Hoboken and started another walking tour there.
After about a year of dating and then moving into a house near the beach we were
married on Oct 12, 1999. In December of that same year, I got an offer for a job in the midwest and together we moved over a thousand miles to Nebraska.
Today we are living "happily ever after" on a farm with 3 horses, 2 dogs and 8 cats.
